The reasons for this decoration are inspired by Andrea Amati who arisen I deem in their instruments: Latin ancient texts. This luthier used to place the text on the rings. Faced with this arrangement I have chosen to put on the lid. The complete decoration consists of the last lines of the sonnet V of Garcilaso de la Vega, joined at a central image of Eros shooting darts. The technique used is gold leaf and oils. It is owned by Juan Ramon Lara .
